Thanks to the content of d-limonene (a natural component of the essential oil), lemon soap flakes are especially suitable for stains.

How are Alchymistky soap flakes different and unique?

  • Alchymistky soap flakes are made from 100% coconut oil what means that they have an exceptional washing efficiency. Coconut oil is the only soap that foams even in very hard water and sea water! (Alternatives are only non-ecological palm kernel soap or Babassu oil soap).
  • The flakes contain glycerin. This is created as a by-product during saponification, and unlike mass production, is not removed from the soap. Glycerin is, among other things, an excellent solvent and thus improves the washing ability of this soap.
  • Alchymistky soap flakes contain sodium citrate, which is an effective water softener. It binds calcium and magnesium ions and allows this soap to wash better in hard water!

You can use soap flakes in many other ways! On top of hand or machine washing of clotes, you can also use soap flakes to wash floors. It makes Alchymistky handmade soap flakes a must-have for your home care.

Suggested use

Dosage:
Pour the soap flakes directly into the washing machine drum. Depending on the degree of pollution and hardness of the water, put 1-2 Tbsp (15-30g) of soap per 4-5kg of laundry.
For stains and disinfection, we recommend adding 1 Tbsp (15g) of PERLOS (Sodium Percarbonate) for light-colored laundry, and in the case of hard water, 1 tsp (5g) of PERLOS to colored and dark laundry as well. Add 1 tsp CITROS to the rinse instead of fabric softener. Suitable for white and colored laundry. Washing temperatures: 40-90°C.

Warning: Do not use the soap flakes on WOOL and SILK!

TIP: Because classic soap flakes need more mechanical movement than in conventional washing machines, we recommend washing heavily soiled clothes, collars and shirt sleeves gently by hand before putting them in the washing machine.

You can use soap flakes in many other ways, for example for washing floors (even wooden ones) - dissolve 2 Tbsp of soap flakes in 5 liters of hot water (you can also use cold water, but it takes longer).

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place in well-closed containers.
